Around the World in 14 Films
The Festival of Festivals
A perfect round-up of the year on-screen, packaged up and presented in a stunningly curated programme.
A year of cinema in 11 days
Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Locarno, Toronto, San Sebastián: the best films of the year play there, scattered across the globe and the calendar. Many never reach a German cinema; others only very late or very briefly. We bring the fourteen we consider outstanding, from once around the world, to Berlin every December, each introduced by a patron. Plus homages, new German cinema, country and late-night specials, and major German premieres.
