Synopsis
Beguiling and unpredictable, this Cannes Un Certain Regard breakout reinvents the heist film as a free-flowing adventure like no other. A Buenos Aires bank employee dreams up a scheme to liberate himself from corporate monotony: he’ll steal enough money to support a modest retirement, then confess and serve prison time whil e his co-worker holds on to the cash. Soon the co-worker comes under pressure … and heads to a remote village where he encounters a woman who will transform his life.
