AROUND THE WORLD IN 14 FILMS would like to thank all partners, supporters, sponsors and the audience who made a successful 18th festival edition with 7,000 visitors in Berlin and Munich possible. For the 18th time, the independent Berlin Film Festival presented cinematic highlights of current world cinema from December 1 to 9, 2023 in the cinema in the KulturBrauerei and the delphi LUX, Neues Off and Rollberg cinemas. From December 11 to 16, 2023, the festival was a guest at the City Kinos in Munich. The festival would like to thank all partners and supporters for their great loyalty, especially its main sponsors Audi City Berlin, ARTE, CineStar and KWK / Karl-Wilhelm Kayser. Many thanks go to the post-production house BASIS BERLIN as prize sponsor and to the jury, Mariam Shatberashvili and Süheyla Schwenk. Cinema magic global – together with 7,000 visitors in Berlin and Munich

Around 7,000 visitors attended the 18th AROUND THE WORLD IN 14 FILMS in Berlin and Munich in 78 screenings. Many, many thanks to the audience who created the necessary cinema magic. In Berlin, the festival ended on December 9, 2023 with the presentation of the BASIS BERLIN Postproduction Award for Best Director to the Belgian director Baloji for his autobiographical debut “Augure” . The festival then presented its program for the first time in Munich's City Kinos from December 11 to 16, 2023.
